300 more kits delivered…
Women use an average of 25 pads per person per cycle; 300 kits were delivered, stopping 7,500 pads entering the ocean each month…
In this small island community, where there is no formal waste disposal, girls are often forced to discard single-use menstrual products into the ocean, directly impacting the marine ecosystem their families depend on.
The Days for Girls (DfG) Pad is a washable, reusable, beautiful menstrual health product that’s built to last. It includes a protective shield and absorbent liner, is backed by the latest menstrual health research and a decade of feedback from women around the world. It is a truly sustainable solution that people with periods can count on month after month, for up to three years.
Just as importantly, these kits help remove one of the biggest barriers to education. Without access to proper menstrual care, many girls miss school or fall behind due to stigma and lack of resources.
Alongside distribution, we incorporated education from Days for Girls to foster understanding, confidence, and open conversation around menstruation, helping to break long-standing taboos. For donors, this means your support is creating multi-layered impact: keeping girls in school, empowering young women, and directly reducing waste entering fragile marine environments.
Thank you for your donations…
