GLOBAL PACIFIC MEDICAL X PROJECT HIU EXPEDITION
OCTOBER 23-29th 2026
Live like a shark fisherman while using your skills to create real, tangible impact. Spend your days on the very boats once used to fish sharks—now repurposed for conservation—and step into the heart of our project.
This expedition is designed for those serious about both conservation and community health. Alongside daily ocean trips, two dedicated days will focus on delivering essential medical support to remote island communities with limited access to healthcare. Working directly with local families, you’ll assist with basic treatments, health checks, and community outreach—bringing meaningful care to those who need it most.
Beyond the medical work, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the socio-economic drivers behind shark fishing through visits to fishermen’s island and time on the boats with our crew. By participating in this program, you’ll help keep two fishing boats and their crews employed in tourism instead of fishing—directly saving over 60 sharks during your trip.
This is more than a conservation experience—it’s a rare opportunity to combine purpose-driven travel, hands-on medical impact, and frontline shark conservation in one of the most unique environments on Earth.
