2025 Was a big year for Project Hiu, each year increasing the number of boats we hire, fishermen we employ, projects we can achieve for the community & sharks we can save through the repurposing of fishing vessels.

We know we were able to prevent the slaughter of more than 2700 sharks by the number of fishing trips we prevented and the average catch on those fishing trips.
