Experience a week of in water activity & front line conservation with your guides, Madison Stewart & a crew of shark fishermen in Indonesia. Each trip we run keeps two shark fishing vessels out of the water for a month, saving more than 60 sharks. You’ll be responsible for these boats and their crew deviating from fishing, whilst being immersed in their way of life and the waters that surround their islands. With a deeper insight into the shark fishing & heading underwater to see what the island of Lombok has to offer, this trip is a must for those who want to travel with purpose.
FREEDIVING ADD ON: If you wish to be trained as a certified freediver, you have this option when you go to check out to add this to your trip, it will incur an excess fee of apx $200 USD on your final invoice. You’ll experience real and hands on conservation while training and learning the theory behind free diving, improving your depth & exploring the reef from repurposed shark fishing boats. You will be able to do every activity in the week long itinerary, with only Freediving theory and line training taking up some of your spare time.
The trip will be hosted by Project Hiu founder Madison Stewart. We will also have a safety diver & photographer present.

This deposit is required to hold your spot. We advertise one trip at a time, please ensure you have made note of the trip date. All bookings are made with PMA Project Hiu Tours (Indonesia). Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE so please be sure you are committed to the trip before booking. Once payment is received you will be sent all terms & conditions as well as information on the rest of the trip payment and a booking form.

What visa do I need? Depending on what country you are coming from, a simple VOA (visa on arrival), will be sufficient for one of our trips. This gives you 30 days in Indonesia & can be extended if you wish to stay longer. Please check to see if your country is on the list for a VOA.
Where will we be based? We will be based in the town of Kuta on the Island of Lombok, Lombok is a 40 minute flight East of Bali.
Where will I need to book my flights to? Your flights will need to be booked to Lombok airport, airport code LOP. We recommend flying into the major airport of Denpasar in Bali & booking a domestic flight to Lombok with plenty time in-between to clear immigration & customs.
